Honorable Kenneth A. Abhulimen commiserates with Chief Raymond Dokpesi's family and Daar Communication.
He expressed great shock and was deeply saddened at the news of the sudden death of Chief Raymond Abhulimen, pioneer of private broadcasting in Nigeria, a media mogul, businessman and philanthropist.
He stated that his loss was an immense blow to Edo State, Nigeria, the Africa continent and the world at large. He described Chief Raymond as a fearless, patriotic, hardworking, intellectual who had contributed immensely to the development of the nation through broadcasting, sports, and the entertainment industry.
He added that his demise had left an indelible mark and he would be fondly remembered for his trailblazing footprints in the broadcasting industry.
Continuing, he expressed his condolence to the family of Chief Raymond Dokpesi and staff of Daar Communications and prayed for the repose of his soul.
He stated that a legend might be down but we are consoled that his legacy lives on. I pray God gives his family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss and strengthen them at this time.
